The Westgate Quarter wishes a warm welcome to our newest member, Richard Graham MP.

Richard Graham, the new MP for Gloucester opened his new offices in Westgate street Gloucester yesterday. Mr Graham made a short speech of thanks, and this was followed by Mr Ian Mean from Gloucester Citizen and the offices were then blessed by our Archdeacon.

Crucible is one of the largest and most important exhibitions of contemporary sculpture to take place in Britain during the past decade.

Over 70 works of art will be featured by many of Britain’s most renowned sculptors and internationally famous artists, including 13 who are members of the Royal Academy of Arts and 1 Royal Hibernian Academician.

Crucible will include sculptures by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi, Lynn Chadwick, Antony Gormley and Damien Hirst. Some pieces have been sourced from private collections or specially loaned and several have been made especially for the exhibition. Many have never been seen in public before. I was lucky enough to get some pictures that you can see here of some of the art works being delivered.

Crucible will be open from 1st September to 30th October at Gloucester Cathedral.

Rave-on-djs is a 24/7 streaming music site with live djs of all ages from 12 to 90, who endeavour to give all age the opportunity to become a dj on this site.We are looking for confident people who can entertain why not apply now.
